I think back to the day your were born, sweet Lizzie. I think back upon your first year of life where I got to watch you make all the "firsts" in your life. And, now we fast forward to 2009, and do tell me where has the time gone? It's hard to believe you are 8 years old now my sweet little girl. You put such a smile on my face, and joy in my heart. Obstacles you are overcoming, but you do everything to the fullest, and try, and try until you accomplish your goal. You are a girly girl who loves Ariel (the little mermaid), nail polish and lip gloss, Barbie dolls and baby dolls. You love being a big sister, and were very excited when you were given that title when Alannah came along! You have a sweet disposition, and give the warmest hugs, and have the silliest little giggle and a twinkle in your eyes! Lizzie, you hold a dear place in my heart, and I thank God for you.
