Meyer - how it all began...

Created for one another even before time began, yet with a twist....

this "one girl" was actually a "package deal" with this girl...

Here's our story: I was a single mom for nearly 7 years, dreams of being married again, but no real hopes. I was determined to be a single mom raising Amanda. Larry, a single guy, 38 years old and ready to accept that perhaps God intended for him to stay single the rest of his life. Fast forward to July 2005. God had different plans for each of our lives. Larry finally decided to pray, "God bring me the woman I am to marry". It was now up to God 100% (even though Larry never had doubts that God's plans were the best. Two weeks after Larry said that prayer, he gave the announcements in church one Sunday morning. Sometimes it takes God really knocking us over the head to let us see what He sees. I remember leaning over to my youngest sister and telling her "I have to meet that guy". She was shocked {as was I} because my family knew I had intentions of being a single mom the rest of my life :). I took necessary steps {emailing, etc} to meet this guy, and two weeks later...our first "special friend" (or date...I joke with Larry because he never referred to me as his girlfriend but his "special friend"...so we "special friended") to Applebee's, and the rest is history. We got engaged Jan 5, 2006. Larry did not ask my daddy for my hand, in turn, he asked Amanda for my hand in marriage. And, I can remember it like it was yesterday. She had a huge smile on her face and told him "yes" :). And wedding preparations began.

On March 25, 2006......this happened {A Wedding} A marriage created 100% by God our Maker!
