I absolutely love my niece. She holds a special place in my heart! So, tonight I got a text message from my sister telling me what Lizzie said last night, and let's just say, this Aunt smiled HUGE

Lizzie said to her mom: The reason Uncle Larry is blind is because he rubbed his eyes too much when he was little!

I LOVE it! Oh to be little again!!! Aunt Anne loves you my Lizzie the Lizard!!!!

Cake anyone?

I am really enjoying making cakes for the family. To me, there is just something peaceful amongst the pressure when it comes to cake making! Not quite sure how to describe the feeling. One thing I do know for certain, when the finished project is presented it makes me so happy to see the recipient smile!

So, thus far my creations have been mainly character cakes for nieces/nephews; although I did do a sheet cake for my niece with Jonas Brothers on the top. Well, I decided to surprise a couple of friends and make them a graduation cake. Fun, fun!

With no pattern, image to go by other than just on-demand creativity, I created my first graduation cake. Congrats again, Debi and Mallory!!!

Movin' On Up...

This past Monday evening, one very proud momma got to watch one very happy daughter attain her Red belt with white stripe in Karate! Just a matter of a few more belts and she will be testing for brown belt, then black! WOW.

Amanda~ I am so proud of you and the effort you put into your Karate training. You amaze me! Keep up the good work!
