After much anticipation and excitement building, the winter dance was upon us. This dance was like a Sadie Hawkins dance, and my girl asked a boy (gasp). Really, I was okay with it because the young man she asked is a Christian boy (same morals, values, etc). I had been telling Amanda all along that in order to go, he had to come up to the door and come in for at least one picture (it's a mom thing, you know?). After she called him (while he and his dad waited in their car out behind our house), she finally went out to get him and brought him in for a picture. After the picture, a little chatting and then they were off for four hours of fun at their school.
