It is such an honor, privilege, blessing to get to lead the most amazing group of girls at church. Each and every one of them is unique and special in their own God-given ways, which in turn makes for quite a diverse group 100% awesome girls.
This past weekend, we had our annual Christmas party (ok, it's only the 2nd year, but still; I foresee several more to come) and were blessed by Charles and Tracey Boyle, who opened up their house for the party. We enjoyed lasagna, garlic bread, and salad for dinner, along with punch served in the most adorable little cups! And, the girls all got to make sugar cookies and decorate them, too. The girls also had some great laughs with our white elephant gift exchange. The most hilarious gift??? Toilet plunger with 2 rolls of toilet paper (leave it to Michael Parker, man of great godly wisdom and a really awesome sense of humor, to come up with this gift)!! We played Christmas bingo, but the person calling out the pictures needs to learn how to shuffle the cards a little better (ahem, Mrs. Meyer). But all in all, believe the girls truly had a fun evening as I know I did. Also, I was given a devotional bible, cross and plaque as a gift from the girls with a cute card that almost made me start crying as it really touched my heart. Thank you girls for being such a blessing to my life. I am thankful that our God makes no mistakes, because putting you in my life definitely was no mistake :)
MERRY CHRISTMAS!
